Greenwich’s online Academic Skills Centre can help you improve your essay writing, research skills, presentation and exam techniques and any additional study skills you may need. You’ll also have access to one-to-one tutorials with academic skills tutors and workshop sessions with subject librarians. All workshops are free and run throughout term time.
Greenwich’s professional counsellors are on hand, should you need them, at any time during your studies. You can also get confidential advice and support from our Listening Ears, a network of university staff committed to student wellbeing.
Each campus has at least one university chaplain to help students settle in and provide information on local places of worship. Chaplains also provide confidential pastoral care to those in distress or need, whether or not they have a faith of their own.
The university provides information and advice on financial issues, including budgeting and money management, financial hardship and debt management, and funds and bursaries.
You can book to see a student finance adviser at one of the Student Centres. Your adviser can check you’re receiving your full entitlement to financial assistance and help you budget and plan ahead.
Greenwich’s aim is to help you secure your ideal role once you have graduated. We’ll help you find internships and placements to build vital workplace skills. We also have a Careers Clinic during term time for CV checks, interview tips and individual careers advice.
